The press is still showing reluctance towards objectively covering what is taking place on American campuses. “Mostly non-violent,” or “99 percent peaceful” have been common refrains from those journalists unwilling to look critically at the violence people are witnessing and the hateful rhetoric people are hearing.
In response to this inactivity, we give some examples of students who have been willing to report from the protest scenes, while showing the stunted level of thinking these would-be activists display.
